In order to provide reliable service COCVAC has implemented Career Members who
supplement our volunteers during hard to staff times. COCVAC full time Career Members
work thirty six hours a week in eighteen hour blocks. This allows our Career Members ample
time off from work so they stay mentally fresh and have time away from the stressors of
emergency services work. COCVAC Career Members are Emergency Medical Technicians of
various skill levels and backgrounds. We pride ourselves on our ability to blend volunteer
and career members in a seamless integration of service and reliability.
